Step 1. Sustainable Laboratory
The process begins in a controlled laboratory environment, using pure mountain water and 100% renewable energy to cultivate Haematococcus pluvialis algae sustainably.

Step 2. Green Phase: Growth under Optimal Conditions
In this phase, the algae grow in closed bioreactors. They are nourished with natural nutrients and sunlight (or light from renewable energy sources), allowing them to develop optimally in their green, growing form.

Step 3. Red Phase: Natural Protection through Astaxanthin
When the algae are exposed to stress (such as light), they switch to the red phase. They then begin producing large amounts of astaxanthin to protect themselves.

Step 4. Homogenisation and Drying
Once they reach their maximum astaxanthin content, the algae are harvested, gently homogenised, and carefully dried to preserve their nutrients.

Step 5. Dried Algae
The result is a pure, dry algae powder rich in astaxanthin, ready for the next step in the process.

Step 6. Packaging and Storage
The dried biomass is packaged and stored under protected conditions to ensure freshness and quality until the moment of extraction.

Step 7. Supercritical CO₂ Extraction
Finally, Royal Green Bio Astaxanthin is extracted entirely naturally using supercritical CO₂, without any chemical solvents. This produces a pure astaxanthin oleoresin with maximum bioavailability.
