Royal Green Vegan Omega-3 softgels contain premium algae oil sourced from the microalga Schizochytrium. Algae are the original source of DHA and EPA in the food chain. Omega-3 fatty acids are essential polyunsaturated fats that play an important role in the body. They contribute to the normal functioning of the heart and support vision and brain function.* The best-known forms are alpha-linolenic acid (ALA), docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) and eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA). ALA occurs naturally in flaxseed, rapeseed oil, soybean oil and walnuts. EPA and DHA are primarily found in fatty fish and shellfish. Our bodies can produce small amounts of EPA and DHA from ALA. Fish obtain EPA and DHA from algae, making algae oil a sustainable alternative for omega-3 supplements. It is ideal for vegans, vegetarians and anyone who does not eat fish.

Each daily serving provides 375 mg of DHA and 125 mg of EPA in a 3:1 ratio. The omega-3 fatty acids in this supplement are present in their natural form, ensuring excellent bioavailability.
